The style Bruegel is Belgium made and the higher end quality of this style. Only purchased by the wealthy. In oak and the best I can determine was built during the 1930 thru 40's. A little history; The design and name was inspired by the works of Peter Bruegel, Pieter the Elder Bruegel (c. 1525-1569) who was a Dutch and Flemish Renaissance painter and print maker. Pieter the Elder's art reflected peasant life and religious works which was later used for inspiration on furniture during the 1920's-1940's. This furniture was typically Oak and was known for its higher quality and only purchased by the most wealthy.
